After having succeeded in bringing 1000 musicians together to play FooFighter’s Learn to Fly the band wanted to go and play in Cesena, Italy, and Fabio Zaffagnini wanted to make something even bigger: Transform the 1000 musicians in the world biggest rock band and let them play a full concert.

The Belgian theatre company BERLIN wanted to pay homage to “O Senhor do Adeus” (João Manuel Serra), a well-known character from the streets of Lisbon who passed away in 2011. They set up a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for the realization of a tile wall on a building façade in Lisbon, representing the waving man.
The Dutch National Ballet is always looking for new ways involve their audiences and in May 2016 they launched their first crowdfunding campaign. Their goal was not only financing a unique project and making dreams come true, they also wanted to create a group of involved crowdfunders and engage/connect them in a unique and special way.
DigVentures is an archaeology crowdfunding platform that went from an idea in 2012 to having created and nurtures a sustainable and booming community of supporters and followers. By keeping their supporters motivated through different engagement opportunities, their financing model allows cross-selling of services (archaeology experiences) and replication in order to fund new excavation projects. In this way the sustainability of the platform and the community itself is ensured.
